The coronavirus pandemic is still wreaking havoc on people's lives in India. In reality, India registered over 350000 corona cases on April 27, 2021. The Indian Premier League 2021 is taking place amid this pandemic.

And, as a result of the unprecedented number of incidents, the IPL has imposed more rigid rules that all players must obey. All people living inside the bubble will now be required to be checked every two days rather than every five days.

Furthermore, no player can order food from a restaurant other than the hotel where they are staying. In reality, BCCI Chief Executive Officer Hemang Amin confirmed that previously, players were allowed to order food from outside, but that this is no longer the case. Amin also mentioned that the level of caution within the bio bubbles had been increased.

In addition, a BCCI source has stated that all Indian players competing in the 14th edition of the IPL will be able to get vaccinated beginning May 1, 2021. The source concluded by saying that it is entirely up to the players to make the decision. The source also stated that only Indian players are eligible for vaccination.

The 14th edition of the IPL will take place over more than seven weeks. The tournament will begin on April 9, 2021, and the final will take place on May 30, 2021. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, led by Virat Kohli, is currently in first place in the points table, winning five of their six matches in the tournament.
