A retiree won magnum's first jackpot of the year from Puchong, Selangor, who won over RM22
million.
The business confirmed in a statement that the winner purchased his winning ticket from the Puchong Utama agency.
According to the firm, the lucky winner has been a faithful Magnum Jackpot player since 2009 and always purchases advance draws to ensure he does not miss any draws.
"This time, it was the lucky numbers 2802 (1st prize) and 7189 (2nd prize) that won him such a large sum of money."
The winner had put RM30 into his numbers.
When the winning numbers appeared in the Magnum 4D live draw on the mobile app, the guy, whose identity was not revealed, stated he was happy and pleased.
To be sure, the man recruited his wife's assistance, and the two double-checked the results on the app.
After the March 3 draw, he said he couldn't sleep.
"I had faith that luck would come my way one day, and it did!"
He stated that he would donate a portion of his money to charity homes impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Do good, and goodwill comes to you, and I am always prepared to assist others."
Meanwhile, the firm stated that all of its locations continue to follow SOPs, including enforcing social distancing, temperature screening, supplying customers with hand sanitisers, and encouraging them to purchase up to six advance draws.
