• Surrender is not an option.

• Insurance: Pays 2 to 1 on average, with a house edge of 7.40% depending on player cards.
• The payout for a bust is 5 to 2. On average, the house has a 1.33% edge, which varies significantly depending on the player cards.

According to the research, the bottom line is an 8.04% house edge. The 7-7-7 rule favours the player by 0.02%, while the ace and jack of spades rule select the player by 0.03%.

With an 8% house edge, this is by far the worst blackjack variant I've ever seen for the player. In all fairness, casinos lose money in traditional blackjack at wagers under $50, including labour costs, so they argue that games like these allow players of lower means to participate while still making financial sense for the casino.
